RESEARCH DONE SINCE THIS POST WAS WRITTEN WAS WITH COMMERCIALLY SOLD SEED. With those Famous Name Seeds and cross breeds, low yields often resulted and many, I think, have had low quality results. The Licensed Producers who were to mail order Medical Marijuana have gained control of Recreational Marijuana and Sales to Dispensaries and they are unable to meet either the Quality or Quantity Requirements of Consumers. I do wonder if the seed might have been the problem and the breeds the Licensed Producers have as well.
Famous names in many situations are cloned and re-cloned varieties which I suspect are too old. Is it possible that many standard varieties are "burnt out' or too old in total age since seed grown?
I was there for the burn out or degeneration or senility of the powerful Skunk, the real one. I will write the Skunk story in BC in the future, other persons had much more to do with the Skunk than I did. I have grown and crossed back Skunk (I doubt stray male pollen got in) when the Skunk was in its prime. I had grown Thai weed from seed right out of a gold Thai Stick, but saw no male stamens, so I would assume that the S86 which won the 1987 Kootenay Cup as " Lindon " and the S87 which won the 1988 Kootenay Cup as " Lucy"* ( Grown from seed I produced by outdoor farmers) S86 and S87 are probably Skunk crossed back on itself from survival male blossoms. I was demolished in an end of 1986 automobile accident and had memory disfunction even after physically becoming able again. I remembered again by the summer of 1990,I remember the poor condition the Skunk I had degenerated to. When I looked around a year later, I found that the other growers who had possessed Skunk were not growing it any more.
*Lucy, as in Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds!
What exactly is the message : I find that when I smoke the Famous Names from the Past, it is a long past now, I do not get very high, not Lucy in the Sky High...
New varieties grown from seed can really be all over the place, perhaps there are seed houses where the problem has been solved. New varieties I saw seemed to be flawed due to their young total age, clones are older in total age, and seem to be more stable and more resistant to damage from virus or mold exposure.
Low yield and poor bud structure preclude the husbandry of many strains.
I am not the only person who has found commercially grown old strains to be weak. I have smoked a number of newly grown from seed varieties which I found to be much more powerful than the Famous Names. The Famous are often capable of producing a large bud and large yield and in some cases continue to do so year after year, but is the high and the quality of the high still there?
The desirable strains must be procreated in breeding programs until the effective, large enough and robust plants are created , cloned and grown.
High is not a bad thing. Artists and musicians have long used the High effect of marijuana and other drugs to enhance perception, artistic representation and musical performance.
In Europe at pharmacies Sandoz Laboratories offered " Artists and Musicians Pastiles" LSD 25.The other use of medical marijuana is the use for pain relief and depression and the enhancement of appetite and alleviation of other drugs undesirable effects are the territory of the Indica varieties in theory. Grandfather Collard's gift to his grandson turned into a punishment instead, a ten thousand dollar fine for my eighteenth birthday. MOTHER SEIZED IT.

EXTREME VETTING
Extreme and Extensive Vetting for Marijuana sales shops and Dispensary Owners and other employees. I heard about this practise just recently and that the RCMP even wanted information on associates and family members. I think the Marijuana is planned to come prepackaged and there is to be a 7 % profit margin. I wonder what an owner or employee might be able to do.
Then I thought of other situations where large amounts of money could be taken or large losses could result due to the actions of Persons who should probably have to be vetted before they were allowed to proceed with the course of action which they were pursuing. What comes to mind is the overwhelming loss of control I experienced when my wife "had to have a divorce, had to get away from me." I had operated and sold a business, and bought land and finished the first house, it was burnt down and Wife and Kids and I lost everything, but for the land and enough insurance money to pay the mortgage off and build a modest home on the existing foundation. That is what I set out to do.
Married only two years, my wife threatened me that if I did not finance a two thousand square foot home and she wanted a contractor to build it, she would divorce me and I would lose all my assets to legal fees. SHE TOOK AND BOTCHED CONTROL. Then she took control again after I remedied some of the botch, much never remediable. She lost everything, from owing nothing to owning nothing but debt more than the property was worth. We sold the equipment and recipes and training, from the business which we could no longer operate. My ex wife demanded a slice for her to be able to go into business again, $10,000. and the rest, $20,000. I paid on her debt to my family, or my debt somehow. I inherited enough to discharge more debt to be only Twenty One Thousand in debt and she struck again with ``Sign over all of your assets or I will say you abused me``, and a bunch of other nonsense detailed elsewhere.
Should there not be Extreme Vetting of Divorcing Wives and what about Vetting Fake 911 Callers, instead of Pot Sellers.
POLICE DID NOT VET ME, WITH MY AAA INDUSTRIAL BNS CREDIT RATING AND MY AUDITED BUSINESS AND MY LETTERS OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RUNNING A BENEFICIAL TRAINING COURSE AT ADVANCED METHOD JEWELLERY MANUFACTURING.
IN SOOKE BC THE RCMP KEEPS A RECORD OF COMPLAINTS, GOSSIP AND ALLEGATIONS WHICH COULD NOT BE VERIFIED. THAT IS HOW OPINIONS IN SOOKE BY-LAW AND POLICE AND AUTHORITIES ARE FORMED AND WIDELY COMMUNICATED.
Repeatedly I have been powerless as really crazy schemes and claims have been deferred to by Government or Police while I the worker or owner have been subjected to absurdly declared defamation. What does the Divorcing Wife who has not been harmed but supported and helped by her husband say about him. I am going to make life as difficult as possible for you my ex-wife hissed, the Police are turned on to you, I told them......

LOW PERCENTAGE ANALYSIS BACKUP
October 2018 Marijuana Critic Canada posted in Qualitative Analysis that he had perhaps erroneously reported that the high percentage of THC reported by laboratories contemporaneously differed with USDA Analysis.
( Maybe the " low percentage opinion '' is not so wrong after all, there is now new lower percentage analysis reported by Health Canada Approved laboratories in 2019 in BC.)
In my previously published Blog Posts, I wrote that I had deduced that all THC of several types and some available in the future was being reported as present in modern Analysis and the USDA or DEA had not reported analysis this way.
November 15 2015 Blog Post is the original Critic lower THC percentage opinion where modern analysis percentages seemed to be high which was exciting for sales and alarmists as well.
Claims that Marijuana is way stronger and thus dangerous are based in part upon this discrepancy in Analysis Reporting Methodology.
